Shri Lal Bahadur Shashtri Arya Mahila College, Barnala was set up in 1968 is a ladies College affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala in the state of Punjab, India. This female only institution is NAAC accredited and its aim is to impart quality education to the students. Located in a 4.25 acre land, the college offers 16 programmes spread across 11 degree level courses. The college currently has a significant enrollment of 739 students and has 47 members on the teaching faculty, hence the college has a good student-staff ratio. This institution provides concentration areas in commerce, arts, science and vocational which caters to both the undergraduate and postgraduate students.

The college has numerous amenities to support the improvement of its students’ learning processes. Shri Lal Bahadur Shashtri Arya Mahila College has a rich menu of different courses to offer which encompassed of 16 full- fledged programmes right from the undergraduate to the postgraduate level. The academic programmes offered in the college include eleven programmes which include the common undergraduate degree programmes of BA and B.Com as well as the more special and specific programmes such as B.Voc in Software Development, Fashion Designing and Beauty and Wellness. In post graduate level, the college offers Master of Computer Applications, Master of Business Administration, Master of Commerce, Master of Science and Post Graduate Diploma courses.
