Shri Maruthi College of Nursing, Hoskote: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

The nursing institution that is currently being considered for this study is Shri Maruthi College of Nursing Hoskote Karnataka which was started in the year 2004. This is a co educational college which is affiliated to INC to offer specialized nursing courses to Health care professionals. The student intake capacity of the college is 155 and the faculty strength of the college is 31 points thus making it a focused college. The institute provides seven full time nursing curriculum at Bachelors level of education named as B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) etc.

Some of the facilities available in the college include; Special facilities that aim at improving the students learning environment. The library is a vital component of academic learning resources compromising of more than 3,000 books, 30 both national and international journals and membership to HELINET consortium that grants access to over 50 international journals. It also has a digital sector with internet and educational CDs. In order to promote clinical experience, the college provides general nursing procedures laboratories where students can practice before and during clinical exposures. These labs are equipped with modern teaching aids such as LCD projectors, overhead projectors, slide projectors, CD players, and teaching models and charts and specimen.

It must be noted that the Shri Maruthi College of Nursing provides its student with total seven courses out of which all are full time. The B.Sc Nursing programme in our college is recognised for 40 seats and the Post Basic B.Sc Nursing programme for 30 seats. It is also possible to study on the GNM programme; however, it is still unclear how many seats are available. They are governed to offer complete nursing learning, making learners competent in an assortment of sectors in healthcare field. Total enrollment of students in the college equals to its intake capacity; which is 155, meaning that available seats are fully occupied.

The admission procedure at Shri Maruthi College of Nursing is formulated in a manner to enroll best students for its nursing courses.
