Shri Ram College of Teachers Education is a recognized College situated in the beautiful city of Udaipur, Rajasthan that aims at molding the young generation into future teachers. As an affiliated college, this college has been influencing the terrain of teacher education for more than ten years since it was founded in 2008. Located at 58 Gokulpura, University Road, near Bekni Pulia, Ayad, the college occupies a tiny piece of land of 0.625 acres, which is ideal. Consolidated with 185 students, this academic institution has a strong teaching staff, having 21 teachers, and therefore, the institution has a student-teacher ratio of 9:1, which guarantees successful learning.

The college's approval from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) also guarantees its compliance with national standards in teacher education. The college presently has a number of facilities that are aimed at improving learning among the students. At the core of these comforts, this facility comprises a library that holds 5,534 books and other periodicals, which includes daily, weekly and monthly publications. The library also provides book bank facility for the students, thus helping them in there academic advancement. In terms of practical skills acquired in class, Practical and Professional laboratories are available at the college. 

Several resources are offered by the Psychology Lab to help future educators learn various aspects of educational psychology. Further, the college has an open-access system Physics, Chemistry & Biology labs, all equipped with basic apparatus essential for practical teaching of these specific science disciplines. Amongst these facilities, the Educational Technology (E.T.) Lab is especially worth mentioning as using innovative teaching facilities, like OHPs, TVs, tape recorders, CD players, projectors, computers, cameras, and sound systems to equip students for learning environment of the comprehensively technologically advanced classroom.

Shri Ram College of Teachers Education currently offers one primary course: the Bachelor of Education, abbreviated as B.Ed. This is a Level 3 BTEC Certificate, Diploma and Extended Diploma in Business course that takes two years full-time and has an approved capacity of 100 learners. It is important to note that B.Ed. is a professional qualification and the program is aimed at preparing teacher education candidates who would like to make a successful career in teaching profession. Although this is a core teacher training program in the college, it shows a college concern in offering a broad education in teaching, respectively.

Candidates who qualify for admission are as follows: Qualifying examination: The admitted students will be assessed in accordance with the rules and regulations discussed by the State Government of Rajasthan, the Union Territory, and the affiliated University Enterence examination: Taking and passing the university’s entrance examination Any other selection procedure prescribed between the university, the state government and the Union Territory.
