Shri Ram College of Engineering, Raipur was started during the years of 2012–13 and it is an Affiliated/ Constituent College located at village – Saragaon, Kharora Road, Raipur – 556, Dist – Chhatisgarh. This institution which is accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) offers teacher education programs. The college is now housed in a small plot of 0.89 acres, and it serves total enrollment of 237 students for the two available programs. Being a college of education, Shri Ram College has the right student to faculty ratio that will enable the institution to deliver quality learning. 

This college has installed some facilities in order to facilitate the learning process of its students. A number of scholarly sources indicate that libraries should be optimally equipped so that prospective teachers had access to all the necessary literature. The curriculum of Shri Ram College, Raipur comprises of two full time courses in the faculty of education. 

B.Ed program has a total intake capacity of 100 and D.El.Ed program has a total of 50 intake capacity. Each of them can be successfully finished in two years and grants preparation for further teachers at all stages of the learning process. As a result, due attention is paid to the college’s two flagship programs, which concentrate on developing future teachers by offering them preparation for the specific demands of the teaching process. 

Admissions in Shri Ram College, Raipur are strictly on the merit basis and as per government and university norms. Admission requirement for the B.Ed program include aggregates of the qualifying examination and/or performance in an entrance test. Likewise, merit is considered for admission in the D.El.Ed program depending upon candidate performance in qualifying examination or any other method prescribed by the state government/UT administration.
