Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Management, Lucknow: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Founded in 2006, Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Management is an affiliated college located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The campus area is 2.34 acres, and the institute offers various undergraduate programmes related to management and technology. The student intake totals 328, while the faculty strength is 11. SRMCM offers three regular degree courses at the undergraduate level—BBA, BCA, and B.Com. (Hons.), for students having an inclination toward business administration, computer applications, and commerce, respectively. 

At the very outset, the institute is fully equipped with all the modern facilities and amenities. The library is one of the important centres of learning material within the campus. It has a stock of nearly 50,000 books with 7,891 titles, with 204 print journals and 4,474 online journals. The institute has well-equipped computer laboratories with 304 interlinked systems, which act as a strong platform for practical learning. SRMCM also provides boys' and girls' hostels, well equipped with modern-day amenities in order to ensure comfortable living conditions for students who are residents in the hostel. 

Currently, there are three undergraduate courses offered by SRMCM: BBA with 120 seats, BCA with the number of seats not specified, and B.Com (Hons) with 60 seats. These programmes are of a full-time course in nature and have been devised to provide detailed knowledge in the concerned subjects. The admission procedure of this very college has been prescribed in such a way that 85% of the total seats are filled through the Lucknow University Management Admission Test conducted by the Lucknow University, while the remaining 15% seats are kept to be filled on the basis of merit and other criteria as awarded by the university management. 

The Admission to SRMCM is mainly done on the basis of LUMAT entrance test for most of the seats. Prospective students are required to appear for this exam, which serves as the primary criterion of admission into BBA and BCA courses. For B.Com Hons, no specific admission details are given but will presumably follow a similar pattern. The college also offers merit-based admission for some of its seats in various courses, following the criteria set by Lucknow University. This dual approach ensures that the selection is fair and comprehensive in nature so that students with diverse academic backgrounds and potential get admitted to this institution. A host of facilities have been provided at SRMCM to improve the general student experience.
