Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Institute of Pharmacy, Kumhari is a privately held institute, established in the year 2004 to serve pharmaceutical education. The institute, located near Power Grid Corporation, Kumhari, Durg, Chhattisgarh, is affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai, and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. SRSIP runs courses at the D.Pharma, B.Pharma, M.Pharma, and Ph.D. levels in Pharmacy. Being a flagship course, B.Pharma has an approved intake of 100 seats while the D.Pharma programme offers 60 seats. In the postgraduate level itself, SRSIP offers different M.Pharma specialisations—Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmacology—and a Ph.D. in Pharmacy for those seeking advanced research. 

The admission process varies for each course at SRSIP. The institute offers admission to D.Pharma and B.Pharma programmes through the Chhattisgarh Pre Pharmacy Test. Students seeking admission to M.Pharma have to appear for Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test and must have valid scores in the same.
