Shri Shaligram Sharma Smarak PG College is affiliated with the Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut, established in 1980. Situated on a sprawling campus of 4.77 acres, it has been completing over four decades of higher education. The college has its accreditation certificate under the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The faculty strength of 16 dedicated educators is staffed to teach three degree programmes with 11 courses. Diverse range offered serves every type of academic interest and the career aspirant who may look for study within the college.

Shri Shaligram Sharma Smarak PG College offers a full range of courses consisting of 11 programmes under undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes. The college offers full-time arts and home science courses for diversified academic interest.
The College offers undergraduate programmes in the form of BA and BA Home Science Self Finance for a duration of three years.
The postgraduate course offered in the institution is MA in Hindi, English, History, and Home Science, which are two years self-financed courses. The institution offers Ph.D. in languages or literature such as English, History, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, etc., courses to further research and scholarship studies. Extracurricular activities suited to enhance a lively academic community include participation in annual sports championships of the college. These are usually held for both boys and girls to promote the endurance of the body and thereby team spirit. Kabaddi, Volleyball, Cricket, Table Tennis, Chess, Badminton, and Kho-Kho are regular games events held throughout the year, with the most outstanding performers of the tournaments recognised.
