Shri Shivaji Agriculture College, Amravati, also known by the abbreviation SSAC Amravati, is a prestigious institution dealing with the education of agriculture. This institution is affiliated with and claims to have a campus that covers 97.38 acres located in Amravati, Maharashtra. It harbors a total of 740 students and 33 members of faculty, which makes the SSAC Amravati education environment offer a lot of personal interaction time. Three courses are being run in two specialized programs in agriculture for undergrad and postgraduate level at the college. 

SSAC Amravati has several facilities that help make the student-life campus a great one. The college provides separate hostels for boys and girls, who come from different places around the country, with comfortable lodging. SSAC Amravati has three full-time courses, namely, a B.Sc. Agriculture four-yearly course of 180 seats, while the other two M.Sc. courses of 2 years include Agriculture Economics and Agriculture Extension of 9 seats each. The diversity of programs available at the college enables specialization for all spheres of agriculture, from basic knowledge up to the highest levels of research and extension activities. The total student intake of all the courses is 198, which justifies the college's commitment to maintaining a very favorable student-to-faculty ratio for personalized attention and quality education.
