Shri Surendra Pal Sharma Mahavidyalaya, Aligarh: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Shri Surendra Pal Sharma Mahavidyalaya, affiliated college, is located at Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh and it was set in 2015. This college has both male and female students and is located in a 2.06 acre land and it has three degree programs for undergraduates. The college has also received accrediation by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to warrant quality training in the college’s teacher training program. The institute has started with the intake of total students being 289 and faculties as many as 9 providing a concentration towards the goal. The college provides Arts, Science and Education courses, to meet the need of students with various areas of focus. 

The institute has a host of amenities aimed at improving the lot of the student.The following are some of the amenities owned by the institute; Library is an essential instructional resource and collection of literature that students and even instructors need. The college has the department based labs and these are practical for the science students of Summer college. Desirable IT resources help students remain connected to the current technological interfaces. To enhance on physical fitness the college provides a gym and sports complex. It also has an auditorium for occasions such as seminars, guesthouse for the teaching faculty, their relatives and adequate parking area. All these amenities help in complimenting an students educational process, both inside the classroom and outside. 

Shri Surendra Pal Sharma Mahavidyalaya offers three full-time undergraduate courses: Under Graduate programs offered are; bachelors of arts (BA), bachelors of science (B.Sc) and bachelors of education (B.Ed). The B.Ed program which is the teacher training course offered by the college has been approved to intakes 100 students. Although there are no distinct BA and B.Sc intake numbers, the overall student count through all courses offered in the university and 289. This means that the students are well distributed in the three programs, and this gives a diversified academic environment in the campus. 

Admission to Shri Surendra Pal Sharma Mahavidyalaya depends on the course of study pursued by the candidate. For the B.Ed program the admission criterion utilized are merit with consideration given to marks in the qualifying examination and or entrance examination. The college has the guidelines prescribed by the state government, UT administration and the affiliated university for its selection policy. 

It is recommended that neither is given specific dates but prospective learners are encouraged to visit the college website or call the admission department. Interestingly, the college does not feature any entrance exams or scholarships that the students may have to take in to the college. Nevertheless, since the College holds NCTE approval, the B.Ed program must follow course standard admission criteria for teacher education.
