Shri Vinayak PG College, Faizabad was established in the year 2004 at Khajurahat in the Faizabad district of Uttar Pradesh. This is an affiliated college, offering only teacher education with three courses at different levels. This institution is approved by the NCTE on a vast campus of 5 acres. Shri Vinayak PG College is an institution concerned with the teaching of children with a student enrollment of 1,090 and faculty strength of 25. The college provides three different degree courses: B.P.Ed, M.Ed, and D.El.Ed. These cater to different spheres of teaching and education.

The facilities in this college vary; hence, it may further improve the learning environment of students. A well-equipped library is an information center and offers material for research and study. The high-quality infrastructural facilities in IT, therefore, prove the commitment of the institution towards modern education, fully equipping student teachers with knowledge about the most recent developments in technology in the field of education. Shri Vinayak PG College offers three full-time courses directly related to teacher education. All of them are needed to meet the education system at different levels, elementary, higher, and so on. B.P.Ed and D.El.Ed have a 50-seat capacity each, and M.Ed has a 25-seat strength. The diversification of courses offered by the institute allows students to specialize in diverse fields of education, including physical education and methodological follow-up teaching strategies.

The students getting admitted in the Shri Vinayak PG College are done through merit, on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Such admission process follows the state government of Uttar Pradesh's admission policies and that of the parent university. In B.P.Ed and M.Ed admissions, the candidates are admitted strictly based on the merit positions of the qualifying examination or on the entrance examination result. The case of D.El.Ed is the same in which admission is as per the policies of the state government. Application dates and deadlines usually change every year.
