Shridevi Institute of Nursing, Tumkur, Karnataka, started in 1992 and is one of the acclaimed institutions for degree in nursing. This is a co-educational institute that is located on a thirty acre campus and offers sound nursing education. Affiliated with the INC, Shridevi Institute of Nursing has several nursing courses at different levels. Considering the over all student strength of 452 and faculty of 55, this institute boasts of a great student faculty ratio. It also has a health centre, a gym, sports complex, IT services, a canteen and large assembly hall for lectures, seminars etc.

Such offer full course of B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing with a range of options, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, and diplomas include GNM and Post Basic Diplomas like Critical Care Nursing and Neonatal nursing. The B.Sc Nursing programme, which is a flagship programme, offers 100 sanction for students, while M.Sc Nursing every specialisation offers five.
