Shrimati Binzani Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur was established in 1961 as affiliated college for women's education in the Maharashtra state. This institution has been sitting at the heart of Nagpur since 1961 and has acted like a cradle of women's education for over six decades. This college, spread over a small campus of 3.654 acres, currently has an enrolment of 422 students and a faculty strength of 12. Presently, this NAAC-accredited college offers two degree courses: BA and MA in Hindi Literature. This arts college is of vital importance for shaping the entire academic scenario in the area, as it performs the role of arts education. 

All around development of students with facilities for perfection in learning is there. The gymnasium well equipped provides the opportunity for physical fitness among the students. A library with 13,800 books and 200 bound volumes of journals, theses, and dissertations is also available there. Sports facilities cater to the interest of different athletic students, hence ensuring healthy balance between academics and physical activity. Finally, there is a well-equipped computer laboratory with free ICT training for all students as part of modern education. The program aids in equipping them with relevant digital literacy skills in their respective careers. Shrimati Binzani Mahila Mahavidyalaya has two regular courses at an undergraduate level BA. The college for girls opens a scope for students who want to pursue higher studies in the humanities stream, especially at the postgraduate level in Hindi literature.
