Shriram Institute of Engineering and Technology Polytechnic, offers a wide range of engineering programs at the diploma and degree levels. SIETP is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and follows a comprehensive admission process designed to select qualified candidates for its various programs.

The admission procedure at SIETP takes into account a number of factors such as academic performance in qualifying exams, entrance test scores, and in some cases, personal interviews. Depending upon the chosen program, candidates will have to have core subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for B.Tech programs in their 10+2 curriculum.

Though SIETP does not have its entrance examination, it must be considering scores of some relevant state or national-level engineering entrance exams for the admission process in B.Tech programs. For diploma courses, the admission process can be through the candidate's performance in the 10th standard examination or a state-level entrance test for polytechnic admissions.

Application Process

The process for application in Shriram Institute of Engineering and Technology Polytechnic is as follows:

1. Candidates should log in to the official website of SIETP to obtain the online application form.

2. Fill up the application form with all personal and academic details. All the information should be entered correctly so that there is no problem in the admission process.

3. Upload necessary documents, which may include:

• 10th and 12th standard mark sheets
• Entrance exam score card (if applicable)
• Passport size photograph
• Signature
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Any other documents as specified by the institute

4. Application fee should be made in the prescribed mode of payment. The application fee may vary depending on the applicant categories.

5. After the application submission and payment of the fee, the applicant will get the print out of the application form.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: SIETP runs B.Tech courses in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Engineering. The admission to B Tech courses is most probably done on merit of entrance exam for respective engineering courses and 10+2 marks. Intake capacities are 30 each in Civil and Mechanical Engineering streams and 120 in Computer Engineering stream.

Diploma: The institute offers diploma courses in Computer Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The admission procedures for diploma courses are based on 10th standard marks or a state-level polytechnic entrance exam. Intake capacity varies, as follows: there are 120 seats for Mechanical Engineering and 60 seats each for other diploma programs.
