Shyama Shyam Teachers Training College was started in the year 2010, and it is a self-financed college situated in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Located on an area of 1.5617 acres, this coed school is aimed at producing future educators. The NCTE-approved college has two specialised teaching programmes with a collective student enrolment of 308 students. The college has a good teaching proportion with 30 faculty members available, so as to reach maximum students per teacher so that they enjoy quality education.

One serves with pride that the college has several teaching aid facilities that facilitate learning among students. Well-equipped laboratories for compartmental studies, including botany, zoology, physics, and chemical science, offer practical sections or room for useful experience. The computer lab in the institute is equipped with modern hardware and an internet connection to assist practical exposures and analytical works. The library section has over 8,000 plus resources in the form of books, text books, journals, magazines, and reference books, and also has digital facilities and e-books. 

In order to support comprehensive development of the students, the college offers adequate sporting amenities consisting of indoor and outdoor sporting grounds located in a serene backdrop of greens. Other facilities include transport for moving around, a hall for lectures and seminars, an in-and-out station canteen, visitors’ quarters, and a sick bay with emergency first aid services.

Shyama Shyam Teachers Training College has the following two full time courses for the education field. The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme has a contribution of one hundred seats, and the Diploma in Elementary Education programme (D.Ed.)) has a contribution of fifty seats.

The Shyama Shyam Teachers Training College enrolment policy is on the basis of a score in the standard waived for admission or entrance examination. The admission policy at the college is in compliance with the state government/UT administration and the affiliated university.
