Siddhivinayak B Ed College, Paschim Medinipur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Siddhivinayak B.Ed. College was established in the year 2016. It is an affiliated college in Paschim Medinipur within the state of West Bengal. This teacher education college runs two full-time courses. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.). It was recognised by the NCTE; Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune; having an enrolment of 144 students and 23 active faculties.

It has a wide array of facilities that will support and promote the learning process of its students. The department intends to provide the library facilities as part of the knowledge store and laboratory facilities for conducting practical experiences. There are also auditoriums on campus for the purpose of conducting events and seminars. The existence of IT infrastructure and modern structured classrooms makes the campus quite appropriate for undertaking any kind of learning activity. Students can also have some relaxation at the college cafeteria. The college also offers hospitality in the form of guest rooms for visiting faculty and families of students.

Siddhivinayak B.Ed. College has two education courses of two years each. The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course and the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) course have an approved intake of 50 students each—thus, it is 100 seats that come to light in every academic year. Both of these courses are full time in nature and are concerned with furnishing prospective teachers with skills and knowledge required for their prospective careers in education.

Admission to Siddhivinayak B.Ed. College is made in adherence to the policy of the state government guidelines and affiliating university. Admission to the B.Ed. course shall be made on merit drawn on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and entrance examination. The admission process to D.El.Ed. shall be also made purely on merit, taking into account the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination and entrance test.
