Siliguri B.Ed. College, established in 1989, emerged to be one of the most prestigious education institutes in Darjeeling, West Bengal. This affiliated college, located next to the North Bengal University campus, spent more than three decades shaping a large number of future teachers. This tiny campus of 1.77 acres is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education. With a total enrollment of 96 students and a faculty strength of 8, Siliguri B.Ed, The college provides a focused learning environment for the aspiring teachers. 

The institution provides various facilities for the all-round development of learners. Though this is a small library, the Koha software system has ensured good standards. The library has a commendable collection of more than 10,212 books, including textbooks on education and other subjects, reference books, and different journals. Departmental laboratories for hands-on experience are available at the college. Other facilities include indoor and outdoor sports facilities and a gym for physical fitness. The IT infrastructure also consists of well-equipped computer laboratories with internet facilities, keeping the students connected in this digital age. An auditorium provides for events and seminars, while a health center caters to students' medical needs with first-aid facilities. A guest house is maintained by the college for visiting faculty and family members of students.

Siliguri B.Ed. The college offers only one main course: the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program. This is a full-time course that extends for two years. The college has an approved intake of 50 students to ensure a proper student-teacher ratio for quality education.
