The Sir C.R. Reddy College of Pharmaceutical Sciences was set up in the year 2007 at Eluru in the state of Andhra Pradesh. PCI approved affiliated college offers all kinds of pharmaceutical programs. The college is located in a comparably small plot of 2.5 acres of land, total student enrollment for the college is 483 and 28 faculty members. The institute offers 6 courses at three levels of degrees and offers education in different fields of pharmacy. Established with the focus on quality education, the college comprises of a multicultural student population; currently the college has 68 % female students admitted with Undergraduate programs and 72%Female students admitted to Postgraduate courses. 

The college remains dedicated to ensuring that students gain full And well rounded education facilities. Its well-equipped library houses an extensive collection of books, periodicals, and journals related to Pharmacy and allied sciences, operating from 8:from 30 AM to 5:30 PM to allow the students make extra time in the midst of the day for enhanced study. 

The institution boasts of fully equipped laboratory facilities for practical studies in all areas of Pharmaceutical Sciences. These labs not only supplement classroom learning, but also cater the students to the sophisticated experiments, telling them what is new and happening in the field of pharmacy and related sciences. The college also has these amenities as computer room, sports facilities, an auditorium for event and seminars, and health centre with first aid. For the students who have Utility facility, Sir C.R. Reddy Group of institutions has limited luxurious hostels nearby the campus, in addition academy buses are available for transportation.

The Sir C.R. Reddy College of Pharmaceutical Sciences having a total of 6 courses all of which are full time only & newly it is offering M.Pharmacy course also with proper intake. These are one undergraduate – B.Pharma, three postgraduate – M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmaceutical Analysis and Pharmacology & one doctoral programme – Pharm. D. These courses have an approved student intake of 135 students per year. The last academic year revealed a total head count of 483 students; 253 students were under graduate students, 40 post graduate students and 190 students under the doctorate program. 

Sir C.R. Reddy College of Pharmaceutical Sciences has made admission reaching easy as well as being merit based. Information regarding the admission process is vague but it is observed that the pharmacy college considers the marks obtained in some pharmacy entrance tests, the performance in the qualifying tests and, in some cases, interview also. 

A good evidence of financial support is shown by the college’s show of generosity evidenced from most of the students qualifying to be reimbursed. In the undergraduate program, 157 of 253 students had a financial aid while 98 of 190 students in the doctoral program were reimbursed. This commitment to financial aid contributes to the affordability of quality pharmacy education for students who merit the education through its cost. Also, this college has a functional association of alumni that establishes important relations that may be useful for the current students when they are searching for a job.
