SVIT or Sir Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, Nashik is a leading institute in the state of Maharashtra. It was established in 1998 run by Pravara Rural Education Society. The institute is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). SVIT is affiliated with the Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. 

SVIT Nashik offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering, management  and business administration levels. The engineering programmes offered by SVIT Nashik are Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and  Mechanical Engineering. SVIT offers postgraduate degree in  MBA. The admission to B.Tech programme is offered on the basis of score obtained in the JEE (Main) /MHT CET. The admission to MBA programme will be granted on the basis of score obtained in the MAH MBA CET exam. 

SVIT Nashik provides various facilities. These facilities include library, sports, health centre, auditorium, seminar hall, classrooms, drinking water facility, labs, computer centre, and many more. The Training and Placement cell at SVIT provides the training for building and developing competencies of the students for the job placements.
