Sitalkuchi College was founded in the year 1999 and is an affiliated college, located at Sitalkuchi, Cooch Behar district of West Bengal. Undergraduate courses in arts streams are offered within this 3.89-acre area. With a strong strength of 3,050 students and 45 faculty members, Sitalkuchi College gives ample opportunity to develop academically. Under 2 degrees, 11 programs are offered in various disciplines of Humanities and Social Sciences.

The college has all types of facilities to help students grow academically and professionally. The library is rich in text and reference books, including model question banks and previous year's question papers. For geography, there is a well-equipped laboratory with sophisticated instruments and GIS & Remote sensing software. The college is also set up to have a language hub with computers and software to complement language learning. Sports enthusiasts have the facility of a large playground where activities like football, volleyball, and cricket can be played out. Annual sports day features very prominently in the college calendar, challenging students to participate in intra-college, inter-college, and university-level competitions.

Sitalkuchi College gives total 11 undergraduate courses and all of them are full-time courses. College primarily focuses on BA programs along with the specialisations of many streams.
