SK Roy Memorial Institute of Education is located in Katlicherra in Assam, and is known for its quality in education among teachers. Established in 2010 as a co-educational institution, it has been making trainers for over ten years now. The institute is affiliated with Assam University and had obtained recognition from the NCTE that it is aligned with the national standards that are expected in teacher preparation programmes.
