SKNR Government Arts and Science College, Jagtial, is one of the oldest educational institution in Karimnagar, Telangana which was started in 1965. This affiliated college located in a campus of 31.07 acers has been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college has a students’ enrollment of 474 and a faculty of 10 members The college provides 18 courses in 3 degree programmes. The institute boasts a diverse student body with a 78:ratio of 22 male to female and all from within the state. SKNR Government Arts and Science College offers Arts, Commerce and Science education to students and it involves all round overture.

SKNR Government Arts and Science College has modern teaching aids in the well stocked library, well equipped laboratories, and classroom that improve effective learning in the institution. School of KNRS Government Arts and Science College provides a total of eighteen undergraduate programmes, all of which are full time. The college offers English and Telugu mediums to accommodate the language aspects of the students. Available courses are distributed between Arts, Commerce and Science faculties as well as various disciplines such as B.A, B.Com, and B.Sc Life Science. The total student headings itself have a capacity of 474 which is a good number.
