SM Zaheer Alam Teacher Training College, Darbhanga, Bihar, is an affiliated institution aimed at nurturing future educators. SM Zaheer Alam Teacher Training College is running two full-time courses presently: B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. The former is of two-year duration, which will turn out would-be teachers at secondary and higher secondary levels. 

The admission to SM Zaheer Alam Teacher Training College will be based on merit and the marks secured in the qualifying examination and /or Entrance examination, as the case may be. The B.Ed course will be whatever may be the policy of the state government or that of the affiliating university, will be followed. The D.El.Ed admission is also done in accordance with the directions of the state government/ UT administration.
