Smt LV Government Polytechnic, Hassan was started in the year 1949, is one of the premier Institutions in Karnataka state of India. An AICTE approved college for boys and girls, this institution provides several diploma courses in streams of engineering. The polytechnic is located in a vast area of 27 acres and is recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education, Bangalore. The total student intake of the institute is 926 and the faculty of the institute consists 36 members this create a good infrastructure for the technical education.
