Smt. Rukmini Shedthi Memorial National Government First Grade College Barkur has been set up in the year 1998 in Barkur a village in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka state, India. The affiliated college, covering an area of 5.7 acres of land is located in the beautiful town of Barkur. The institution in question offers 13 courses in 10 different degrees, and currently enrolls 895 students, being managed by 27 members of the faculty.
