Sou Shardadevi Pandit Polytechnic Institute, Osmanabad, started in the year 2010, is one of the premier technical educational institutions situated in Maharashtra, India. This college is affiliated and spread over a campus of 5 acres of land and is approved by the AICTE in the discipline of engineering. The institute has total student strength of 446 and has a qualified faculty of 31 members to join hands to serve the cause of education in unison. Engineering Institute offers four diploma programmes which are all full time courses offered for the engineering disciplines. Also, the institute has a significant number of facilities to provide a stimulating environment for the students. 

The well stocked library carves the role of a resource centre whereby the students are informed. For academic and cultural programmes, Sou Shardadevi Pandit Polytechnic Institute owns a large auditorium. All the department provides modern laboratories facilitating both theoretical knowledge and practical sessions. The institute also lays emphasis on use of technology with good IT facilities easily available. Open for students who are physically inclined, there are centres for sporting activities to balance academic work for students. 

At present, total of four diploma courses offered in Sou Shardadevi Pandit Polytechnic Institute and all of them are on full time basis. These courses are offered in almost all disciplines of engineering disciplines which gives the students a wide opportunity to meet their interests. The total approved intake of the institute is 240 students while the number of students in each course is 60. It is due to this controlled equated intake of students so that institution can make sure that any student enroled receives the best attention and education. The courses are Diploma in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.
