Sourashtra College of Education, Veerapandi, an affiliated college, was started in the year 2007, located in the Thani district of Tamil Nadu. This co-educational institution is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for the proper standards of teacher education. This is a two-year programme for which the college has a duly authorised capacity to admit 100 students, endorsing the colleges belief in producing qualified educators. The B.Ed. course is planned to make the students enable with all the factors that are required to be a good teacher as per the standards, along with theoretical knowledge The students are provided with the practical training.
