South Point Institute of Technology and Management, Sonipat: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

South Point Institute of Technology and Management (SPITM), established in 2008, is a prominent educational institution located in Sonipat, Haryana. This affiliated college, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), offers a diverse range of programs across engineering and management disciplines. SPITM is established in a beautiful campus spread over 4 acres of land. Total enrolment of students is 605, and a faculty strength of 68 staff. The institute provides a co-educational environment to the students for a balanced learning atmosphere. 

SPITM is equipped with world-class facilities and infrastructure that add to an overall better learning experience. The institute's facilities comprise well equipped laboratories, a rich library with books and journals in abundance, and state-of-the-art lecture halls. The whole campus is WiFi enabled, ensuring high-speed internet access to students and faculty. It also provides separate hostel infrastructure for boys and girls from out of the station to feel at home experience. A dispensary manned by a medical officer and health assistant will also be available on the campus to meet the health requirements of the SPITM community. There will also be indoor and outdoor sports facilities to get overall development among the students. An auditorium will be available with a good seating capacity.

The College has a grand total of 11 courses, both at the undergraduate as also at the postgraduate level. Specialisation includes full-time B.Tech degrees in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. At the postgraduate, level SPITM offers M.Tech programs in Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering with an MBA program. Presently, the institute also runs part-time M.Tech programs and graduate level programs in BBA and BCA, taking care of all educational requirements. 

Most of the programs have admission into SPITM through the nationally conducted entrance exams. For a program in B.Tech, students need to be successful for admission through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) conducted by the National Testing Agency. Admissions into the MBA program are based on the scores of the Common Admission Test. These examinations provide fair and competitive platforms.
