SP Mandali's Tilak College of Education at Pune is indeed a century-old educational institute, focused on the formation of future education. Situated at the heart of Pune city, Sadashiv Peth this affiliated college has produced educators for over eight decades. The College is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It offers various programmes under its postgraduate and doctoral courses in education. College Location: The college occupies 0.10101 acres of land and, with its compact campus, provides an intimate setting for learning by the 205 students enrolled and taught by 17 dedicated educators. 

SP Mandali's Tilak College of Education offers a complete range of facilities aimed at enriching the experiences of its students. It facilitates the accommodation of out-town students in girl's and boy's hostels which provides an ideal setting for out-town students. SP Mandali's Tilak College of Education offers five full-time courses at different educational levels. There are B.Ed, M.Ed, M.Phil Education, Ph.D Education, and D.El.Ed. in the college as these are for promising teachers at various career levels. Total intake of students on all programmes is 205, with specific seat allocation for each course. The B.Ed Programme acts as the bedrock for teacher education. It has an approved intake of 100, while the M.Ed programme takes 50 students. SP Mandali's Tilak College of Education offers the M.Phil Education course for 20 seats for those students who want to go deep into the educational research. 

The admissions at SP Mandali's Tilak College of Education are merit-based through marks obtained in qualifying examinations and/or entrance tests. Admissions in the B.Ed programme are made according to the state government and the UT administration guidelines based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance test, qualifying examination, or any other selection process. Similarly, in the case of M. Ed, it is merit in the qualifying examination, entrance examination, and other selection processes as guided by the state government, the university, or the UT administration.
