Sparsh Mahavidyalaya, Amethi, was founded in the year 2011. It is an affiliated college located in Sakra Ramnagar, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. The institution is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education. It provides a wide range of academic programs under multiple disciplines. Situated on a compact 2.87-acre campus, the college currently has a total enrolment of 430 students and a faculty strength of 9 members. Sparsh Mahavidyalaya undertakes courses across 4 degree programmes with 7 courses, cut out to suit diverse academic interests and career aspirations. 

The college ensures all-rounded education for students and is a service group that provides them with all facilities in which they can be supported in pursuit of knowledge. A well-stocked library on the campus serves as the hub of academic research and study. In place of students' experimental learning, department laboratories have been designed to enhance the practical skills of the students. The course portfolio of the institute comprises both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The college offers a Bachelor of Arts BA programme along with a Bachelor of Education B. Ed course at the undergraduate level. For those interested in primary education, it offers a Diploma in Elementary Education with 50 intake capacity. The post-graduate courses are as diversified: Master of Arts in Hindi, Education, Ancient Indian History and Archaeology, and Home Science. The admission procedure varies course to course at Sparsh Mahavidyalaya. Admissions to the D.El.Ed programme are made on merit, reflecting marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, as per the state government. Similarly, it is followed in the B.Ed programme since admission into the course takes place on a merit basis in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination based on the state government and university guidelines. For BA and MA programmes, although admission procedures for specific courses do not exist, one would think that they tend to have the usual admissions process whereby their earlier performance in qualifying examinations is taken into account.
