Sphoorthy Degree and PG College is an accredited college that started in the year 1994 at Hyderabad, Telangana. This affiliated college has been producing knowledge and developing young talents for approximately twenty-nine years, providing various bachelorate programmes. A college of its kind, the college has a population of 929 students and has 24 faculty members to educate the students. Located behind Krishnanad Mutt of Shalivahananagar of Dilsukhnagar, the college is very convenient for students coming from different parts of Hyderabad. Sphoorthy Degree and PG College are offering six under graduate courses in four degrees in order to fulfil the interests and future goals of the students.

The college owns a number of facilities that seek to improve the learning environment of the students. An air-conditioned and well-stocked open-access library has over 5000 volumes of text books, reference books, newspapers, and national and international journals to update the knowledge of the students in their respective fields. These are B.Sc in Data Science, B.Sc in Mathematics, Statistics & Computer Science, BBA, B.Com (Computer application), BCA, etc. All of these programmes can be done within a span of three years and upon completion, the students gain vast Information in their respective fields. The fact that there are so many computer-related courses taught throughout this college shows that the college is preparing students for the future. Unfortunately, the number of seats for each course is not defined yet, but overall student intake of 929 indicates good size of capacity for a range of programmes.
