Based on the last year data, overall cutoff for CAT 2019 in SPJIMR, Mumbai was 85 percentile. However, cutoffs change every year depending on many factors like no. of participants, difficulty level of the exam etc.

The sectional cutoffs for CAT 2019 were as follows :

-Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension =75
-Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning=75
-Quantitative Ability=75

As you have decent chances to convert as per the previous waiting lists and student reviews. 25-30 waitings can be cleared easily as many students go for other top management institutes of their choice, but nothing can be said accurately as it's just a prediction as per past records. SPJIMR has also announced the minimum CAT 2019 and XAT 2020 exam score cut offs as 85 percentile for admission 2020 but don't even think about the cutoff marks or percentile as for SP Jain it's better to score above 98 percentile because they have very less seats for non Maharashtra students.But If you have did job for at least 3 year and have any national level award in any competition then you may get call in 85 percentile.

SP Jain is one of the top Institutes in India. It has a very good reputation in the country and across the world as well. The Institute accepts CAT/XAT/GMAT scores for the admission process. The cut-off for all the three is as follows:

1. CAT - Overall Cut off is around 85 percentile.

2. XAT- It is also around 85 percentile.

3. GMAT- GMAT is also 85 percentile.

The eligibility criteria is as follows:

1. Candidates should have proper documents for 10 and 12 class. Aggregate marks of all the subjects will be considered.

2. Should have done their UG with minimum 50% from a recognized University. It should be of minimum 3 year after 10+2.

3. Candidates who are in final year can also apply.

Dear aspirant

There is no doubt about the Goodwill of SP Jain MGB program. It is one of the prestigious college  of India, but according to my opinion it is average in campus placement as compared to other premium college of same category.

Last but not least it totally depends on the students performance to get placement.

GMAT is an entrance exam for management institutions which has no fixed exam date. The students have been given liberty to select their exam date according to their wish. However it is recommended that registration must be done two months before the exam date. Regarding call from SPJIMR,  the institute will call the students if and only if they meet their eligibility requirements. The interview dates scheduled are different for different cities. It will last up-to 21st of February.

You shouldn't be negative. Be confident. You still have time for the April session. Trigger your weak and strong points and work on them accordingly. Give mock tests and revise well. You'll surely end up in a decent college.

If not, then SP Jain University is also a good option. Bachelor of Data Science is a trending course. It presents a high possibility for employment.  If you're financially sound then it wont be much of a problem. The study course includes the locations of Mumbai and Sydney. The placements offered is very impressive. The demand for data science is not going to fade in the near future. So, BDS is a good alternative.

Since you have a percentage in X and XII along with a good CGPA, you have good chances of getting into SPJIMR. There is no requirement for work experience as such however, if you are applying for management courses you have to clear any of the following exams; XAT,CAT GMAT. It depends upon the course you choose to go ahead with.
