Unfortunately, the SP Jain does not directly take NMAT scores for its PGDM program.
Now, though NMAT is one of the most popular entrance exams for management courses, SP Jain mainly takes into consideration CAT, GMAT and XAT for admission purpose.
But still, you can apply to SP Jain in other ways as given below:
Global MBA: SP Jain also has a Global MBA program for which you can apply directly. The admission criteria are different for this program, and they might take NMAT scores.
Other B-Schools: You can apply to other top-ranked B-schools in India which accept NMAT scores are like
Great Lakes Institute of Management
Welingkar Institute of Management
XIMB
Please refer to the respective official website of these institutions for current admission criterion and deadline.
Yes, you can get the Profile-cum-Score-based call from SPJIMR subject to the condition that you achieve the minimum sectional cutoff of 75 percentile in the CAT .
SPJIMR selects candidates based on their profiles. For selection, candidate's overall profile and following factors are considered along with the CAT scores as mentioned below:
The final selection is based on a composite score, which takes into account the profile of candidates, academic record, CAT/ GMAT scores, work experience (if any), and performance in the two rounds of group interviews. As you have obtained 99 percentile in the CAT, there are good chances that you will get the PI shortlist subject to the condition that you meet the minimum eligibility criteria.
Hello aspirant,
CAT does not directly send your scores to individual institutes.
After you take the CAT exam, you will receive your scorecard from CAT. This scorecard will contain your overall score, sectional scores, and percentile rank.
You will need to update your CAT score on the individual institute portals yourself. Each institute has its own application process, and you will typically need to upload your CAT scorecard to their portal. This allows them to evaluate your application based on your CAT performance.
Therefore, it is important to be prepared to update your CAT score on multiple institute portals after receiving your scorecard.
I hope this information helps you.
