Srajan Mahavidhyalaya Lavkush Nagar, Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, is an affiliated college. Srajan Mahavidhyalaya came into existence in 2007. This institution is a campus-based institution located on 3 acres of land and is focused on offering quality education in the area of teaching. Approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Srajan Mahavidhyalaya offers two full-time courses: Bachelor of Education, B. Ed., and Diploma in Elementary Education, D. Ed. It has a total intake capacity of 133 and a faculty strength of only 5, which enhances its intake capacity and maintains a standard learning environment. An enrolment rate of 100% shows the extent of the institute's commitment to education and its place among prospective teachers in the region.

The college has available college facilities, which help enrich the learning environments of the college students. An equipped library is a reservoir of necessary information for preparing professional instructors for learning institutions. On the campus, they have included sports that will help the students in doing exercises and also build up their team spirit. As per the requirement of modern fleeting education, Srajan Mahavidhyalaya has a splendid IT infrastructure system. The college also has established subject-based laboratories, which facilitate practical learning. There is also a cafeteria for students and staff to make them feel comfortable while on campus. First aid services are provided by a medical centre as an indication of the value of the health of its personnel. Besides, the college offers relaxation facilities to the guest faculties/teachers and family members of the students by accommodating them in guest rooms.

There are in total two programmes offered at Srajan Mahavidhyalaya and both programmes are full-time programmes aimed at providing students a career in teaching sector. The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) programmes proposed course capacity is two hundred divided into one hundred and capacity each for the two courses. These programmes are designed with clear-cut courses needed in teaching-methods, educational psychology and students’ conducts meant for proper career attachments in teaching profession in both primary and secondary education.

The requirement for admission at Srajan Mahavidhyalaya is based on marks scored in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test. It is worth noting that the college upholds the admission policies as provided by the State Government of Madhya Pradesh and the affiliated university. For admission to the B.ED. programme generally, candidates are expected to possess a minimum percentage in their respective bachelor’s degree as prescribed by the norms of NCTE. Generally, the D.El.Ed. programme expects the candidates to have their 10+2 education qualification.
