Sree Vidya Degree College was established in 1997 and stands today as one of the most recognised colleges in and around Gudivada, Andhra Pradesh. Being an affiliated co-educational college within Krishna University, a wide range of undergraduate and other postgraduate programmes under multiple disciplines is available for students to pursue under this remarkable college. Its campus spreads over a small 2.5-acre piece of land giving their educational services to 559 enroled students with the assistance of 15 faculty members. 

It ensures that students get an excellent ambience for learning with modern facilities that help them grow in the chosen academic stream. The library is the jewel of the college, containing a collection of 3,883 books that includes 1,379 reference books and 19 encyclopedias. The reading room of the library has a seating capacity for about 50 students. The college subscribes to 15 educational journals and periodicals in order to give a chance for students to access themselves to the latest research and publications. In addition, Sree Vidya Degree College has well-equipped laboratories for Physical and Biological Sciences to give the students real field experiences in these disciplines.

Sree Vidya Degree College offers 11 courses divided into undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The college offers regular courses under different specialisations that serve several and different interests.
