Sree Visvesvaraya Polytechnic is a campus located in Mahabubnagar, Telangana. Established in 2016, this relatively young affiliated college has quickly emerged as a known polytechnic in that area. The compact campus of the college spans an area of 5.02 acres and offers two diploma programmes in the engineering disciplines. With a total student enrolment of 384 and faculty strength of 103, the institute has a very efficient student-to-teacher ratio that helps in personal attention to each student. The college is committed to technical education, focus mainly on the Civil Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering programmes.

 Sree Visvesvaraya Polytechnic has modern facilities for different activities to enhance the learning experience of its students. One of the principal characteristics is the availability of robust Wi-Fi infrastructure, under which 10-Mbps internet connectivity is available 24x7 for online resource usage. Laboratories equipped for all the departments are available in the institution so that the students can acquire hands-on experience crucial in their technical learning process. Currently, Sree Visvesvaraya Polytechnic offers two full-time diploma programs for three years.
