Sri Amman College of Education, Trichy, comes under the category of excellence in the state of Tamil Nadu, India, which came into being in the year 2010. A co-educational institution located on Thogamalai Main Road, this institution is working for the future generation of teachers. This college has spread over an area of 5.18 acres and provides an ambience and perfect venue for learning and growth. As an affiliated college, it has gained accreditation of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It has a total enrolment of 113 students and a faculty strength of 8; the college, thus, provides an intimate learning atmosphere that will help students and teachers have closer contact with each other.

Sri Amman College of Education currently offers a single full-time course: the B.Ed. It has an intake strength of 100 seats and is a two-year program which vindicates the belief of the college to ensure quality education amidst available space for the number of aspiring teachers. The focus of the course is to prepare students, an outcome that results in a successful teaching profession. 

Sri Amman College of Education admitting students strictly on merit and as defined by the policies of the State Government, U.T. Administration, and the affiliated University. Merit will be assessed based on performance in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, also the college will have supplementary selection processes based on prevailing policies.
