Sri Aravindar Engineering College - Situated on the sprawling 30-acre campus of Villupuram, Tamil Nadu, was established in the year 2008 and has a strong affiliated college. The institute today provides several engineering courses to the aspiring minds. Being relatively fresh but in time earning a sound reputation in technical education, the college offers six undergraduate engineering courses under the BE degree, taking care of different specializations in the engineering domain.

Modern equipment supports and facilitates the academic programs undertaken at the institution. The institution boasts well-equipped laboratories for the practical learning experience on campus, across all departments. A 625 square meter spacious library serves as the intellectual hub of the institution, housing more than 36,000 volumes of books and reference volumes with subscriptions to more than 180 special journals. The college library has an open access system, which encourages students to explore and expand their knowledge without any one's intervention. For the techno-maniacs, the college computer center has 1300 computers set aside for computing and internet services.

Six full-time BE courses are offered by Sri Aravindar Engineering College spread over four years. They are: Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Information Technology.

The admission process of Sri Aravindar Engineering College is very simple and easy. Candidates are mainly selected on the basis of performance in HSC or +2 examinations conducted by the State Board. Government quota seats are available to candidates through counseling under Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions headed by Anna University, Chennai, for proper selection of students.
