Sri Ganesh College of Engineering and Technology is one of the most recognized Technical Institution for Engineering located in Puducherry that brings quality education to the society. This affiliated college was established in 2009, and for the last ten years, it has been preparing young people for different professions. Located over a vast area of 11.05 acres the college provides nice ambiance to the students to study and grow. At the current time the college has around 306 students enrolled for admission and 48 members in the faculty making it easier for college to provide personal attention to the students.

Currently, Sri Ganesh College of Engineering and Technology has ten specialisations in four year full time B.Tech programmes. These 6 programmes include; Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The total intake allowed for these courses is 180 students in which 30 students each are admitted for Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering respectively, 60 students for Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering each. All the programmes are full time, and they equip students with adequate theoretical knowledge together with adequate industrial practice in the chosen fields.
