Sr. Ram Teachers’ Training College is a renowned teachers training college which started its functioning from 2016 in Ranchi, Jharkhand. This trios college is co-educational and affiliated to a university with the prime objective of molding future teachers. Approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college offers two specialized programs: Bachelors in Education (B.ed) and Diploma for Elementary Education (D.el ed). Starting from a total student enrolment at ninety nine, the institute is well equipped with the faculty of twenty one talented and hardworking teachers, thus implying a superior student-faculty ratio providing personalized attention to students.

Sri Ram Teachers Training College offers two full-time courses: there are two programmes: a B Ed course with fifty seats and a D El Ed course with hundred seats for two years. These programs are aimed at providing student with the required knowledge and practical experience for successful teaching profession. The approved total intake for all the courses is one hundred and fifty students which is in line with the college’s policy of affording adequate class space for learning.

Sri Ram Teachers Training College does not assign any cut off marks since it has a merit based admission policy as per the direction of the state government and the university to which the college is affiliated. Therefore for the B.Ed program the admission criteria include the marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. 

The D.El.Ed program follows the selection rules today in line with the Central or the State Government, whichever is in practice.
