In 2014, The Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology, Puducherry was established and is autonomous. This college is approved as per AICTE norms and is a Co-Ed. This college is affiliated with Pondicherry University, Puducherry. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses to students who want to pursue the fields of Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and others. 

Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology, Puducherry also called SVCET Puducherry courses include B.E/B.Tech and M.B.A. Admission into these courses is given based on the scores acquired by the students in the qualifying examination. 

The college also has a placement cell which offers its students placement opportunities from undergraduate and postgraduate courses with a good salary package.
