Sri Venkateswara Institute of Technology (SVIT) Anantapur was established in the year 2009. SVIT Anantapur is known for providing quality education in all the courses it offers. It is a ragging-free campus with certified and brainy faculties. The college is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Currently, the SVIT Anantapur runs seven UG courses and two PG courses. The courses include B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering, B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, B.Tech Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, B.Tech Data Science, B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering, B.Tech Civil Engineering, M.Tech Production Engineering and M.Tech VLSI and Embedded Systems. Admission in these courses are done on the basis of entrance exams. For B.tech, the AP EAMCET marks are taken and for M.Tech, the marks of GATE/AP PGECET are considered.
