Srinivas College of Physiotherapy and Research Centre (SCPRC) has originated in Mangalore in the year 1993 in the state of Karnataka. This affiliated college what is spread over a 1.5 acre area has been producing physiotherapy professionals for the last three decades. SCPRC provides 14 different courses for 4 different degree levels to 449 students in total. This college has a faculty of 21 committed staff to foster a good students’ to faculty ratio. SCPRC provides specialized and comprehensive academic service; the center currently provides 14 courses, covering various levels of physiotherapy care education. These include; Diploma in physiotherapy (DPT), Bachelor of physiotherapy (BPT), Master of physiotherapy (MPT) which has specialties such as Neurosciences, Musculoskeletal & Sports, Cardiopulmonary Sciences, Community based Rehabilitation, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics & Gynecological practice. Doctor of Physiotherapy programs available in the college include Physiotherapy, Orthopedics and Sports Physiotherapy- full time and part time, and Pediatric Physiotherapy. Offered in such a structured combination, the program provides an all-encompassing education whilst offering students an opportunity to recommend areas of interest within physiotherapy.
