Production Introduction Sinai Dempo College of Commerce and Economics was set up in 1966 in Panjim of Goa. Being the part of Goa University, the college has taken NAAC ‘A’ grade accreditation to pride, in terms of educational performance. Situated over a total area of 2.29 acres, the college of commerce and business administration has a wide undergraduate programme portfolio. Currently the school has 1,618 student enrolled and 59 members of the faculty ensuring that the school has a good ratio of students to teachers. The student population in the college is diversified; 92% of the students in the college are under graduate while 8% are post graduate. First of all, student turnover is highly diverse – 98% of college students are from Goa, and only 2% are from other states of India and foreign countries.

This college provides excellent learning environment as it has many great facilities that help its students to study. The library contains more than Thirty six Thousand books; it has facilities like CD ROM Bibliographic Search Facility and online Public Access Catalogue Search Facility and it functions twenty- four hours. This much can be evidenced by a well-equipped computer laboratory and free internet connection within the facility of the institution. For the holistic development of the client and as part of his exercise the college includes several facilities such as a football playground, basketball, volleyball, cricket, and shuttle badminton. The campus also comprises of a well equipped gymnasium, a large auditorium as well as a well equipped cafeteria that sells foods at reasonable prices. Furthermore, the college encompasses resource center offices such as Language Lab that is essential especially in the improvement of the language proficiency of the students.

In total, Srinivassa Sinai Dempo College of Commerce and Economics has seven courses which are taught at different levels. among them are full time undergraduate and postgraduate, diploma etc. Currently, the college offers three under graduate programs, three post graduate programs, and one post graduate diploma course. The total enrollment yielded 1,307 students in the academic year 2023 to show the institution’s role in the delivery of higher education in the region. In light of this, information on the number of graduations in the latest year is not available, however, the college has continued to record satisfactory academic performance and offer courses that are market relevant enabling the students to face their future entrepreneurial adventures.

In most of the courses admissions are done on the basis of merit but few courses need to clear an entrance test to be admitted at Srinivassa Sinai Dempo College of Commerce and Economics.
