SRS Chahal College of Physical Education Patiala is a pioneer organisation providing education in physical education & sports science. This is a coeducational institution set in Punjab with an 8-acre land space it has expanded in. The college is an affiliated college that enjoys recognition from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) as a body to offer the following programmes in physical education. This college trains 450 students and consists of 19 faculty members for them to effectively facilitate learning in the area of sports and physical education.

This college has fully equipped facilities that would help improve the learning activities of the college’s students. The SRS Chahal College of Physical Education provide various courses of study in physical education and psychology and all of them are in full-time mode. The institution offers five unique courses, which include four degree courses and one diploma course. There are undergraduate (Bachelor’s, Diploma), postgraduate (Master’s), and postgraduate diploma programmes in Physical Education and a comprehensive postgraduate diploma in Yoga. The college has an overall approved intake capacity of 320 seats in all its courses, signifying the policy of the college to provide quality education to its concerned classes.
