SRV College of Education, Sivakasi: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

The SRV College of Education, located in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu, India, was established in 2009; it is an affiliated college. It is a co-educational institution recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for promulgating quality standards in teacher education. Located on a small plot of 1.31 acres, the college guarantees a concentrated educational experience for future teachers. The total number of students admitted in SRV College of Education is 200; there are 11 faculties and that results in quality education for the students. The institution currently only has one degree programme, the B.Ed., which is a two-year full-course programme.

The campus includes well-ventilated class rooms fitted with Wi-Fi internet, hence allowing for modern teaching and learning. At present, SRV College of Education follows the management rule of admission norms prescribed by the UT administration, state government, and the university to which it is affiliated. Admission to any programme is offered based on the student’s performance on the qualifying examination, entrance examination, or any other modality described by the authorities for this purpose.

The college runs an active alumni association formed in 2012 to liaise with past and present students with ease.
