SSG Pareek PG College is a leading college which was set up in 1956 in Banipark, Jaipur Rajasthan. This affiliated college for boys and girls offers a wide choice of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in a variety of fields. The college has a campus size of 7 acres and caters to an overall student strength of 2,079 students and has 59 committed teaching faculties. The institute offers twenty-six programs in nine undergraduate degree programs offered in arts, commerce, science, and humanities.

The college has fully equipped and developed facilities to supplement the learning activities of the students. Prominent among the academic facilities is an automated library which stores about One Hundred Thousand books, journals as well as magazines. The institution has fully equipped laboratories to teach computer science, biology, chemistry, zoology, physics and geography. 

These labs are intended to offer the real experiences and realistic knowledge to the students. Extra curricula activities and events in the college are well facilitated with an auditorium and sports facilities hence promoting the colleges holistic development approach. Students and teachers are provided with the possibility to purchase food in a cafeteria located on the territory of the educational institution.

SSG Pareek PG College provides a wide array of programs to the students consisting of 14 under graduate and 12 post graduate programs. The undergraduate programmes include B.Com, BA, BBA, BCA, and variety of B.Sc programmes with honours in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, and Zoology. At the postgraduate level, students can do M.Com with fields of Accountancy and Business Statistics, Business Administration, and Economic Administration and Financial Management. Apart from that, the college also provides MA programs in Political Science, History, Geography, Hindi, Drawing and Painting, Public Administration, Vocal Music and M.Sc degree in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany and Zoology.

The admission procedure followed in SSG Pareek PG College involves an attempt to give a merit based chance to all students. Although the dates of exams are not given here but the college must follow the academic session calendar of the university to which it is affiliated to for admissions. Majority of the students are local students, where more than ninety nine percent of the students in the institute are from Rajasthan. 

The college maintains a diverse student body with a gender ratio of approximately 4:With regard to staff, the sex ratio is again independent in the undergraduate section and equals 1 male to female, while in the postgraduate area the ratio is much more equal.
