Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Animation and Visual Effects is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree course offered by Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.

BA Animation & Visual Effects is intended to create expert professionals for the animation and visual effects industry. All the basic aspects of animation and visual effects like the History of Art & Design, Character Design, Drawing for Animation, Planning for Animation, Classical Animation, Stop Motion Techniques, Acting for Animators, etc are dealt with in detail during the 6 semesters. Students are also trained in software like Maya, 3Ds Max, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Avid, Flash, After Effects, etc.


Eligibility Criteria

A person, who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
