St. Mary’s College, Sulthan Bathery was established in 1965 and this college is an affiliated college situated at Wayanad, Kerala. The deemed university affiliated to NAAC is the prominent centre for the quality undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Situated on a 27 acre campus, this college has the strength of 1806 students including 851 male and 955 female students. Currently, there are 49 hardworking members of faculty to offer students 20 courses in 8 different degree programmes. The library serves as a central hub for academic resources, operating from 9:From 30 am to 4:30 pm of the working days. For sports lovers, the college has Volleyball Academy in association with St. Mary’s College Higher Secondary School, from which players have been provided at national/international level from the year 2004. The institution also has modern IT facilities, the most recent being an ultra-modern digitalised language lab with 20 computers and a server to help the student develop proper communication skills. Other facilities are the separate hostels for the boys and girl, a canteen which provides cheap and nutritious foods, book and stationery shop and an auditorial hall for conducting seminars and other functions.
