St. Mary’s Training College Karikode is an affiliated college started in 2002 in Peruva, Kottayam, Kerala. This is a co-educational institution with a focus on preparing teachers, to teach and therefore has a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). The college has been approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) which curriculum and standards are widely accepted. The college is allowed to take 50 students for this programme and this means that we are able to work closely with each of them. This limited intake enables the students to have much close contact with the faculty and enables the faculties to focus on few students and improve on the type of education being given to the students.
