St Stephen's College of Nursing was established in 2008. The college was initially started as the St Stephen’s School of Nursing in 1888 which later got changed to College of Nursing in 2008. It also has a hospital named St Stephen’s Hospital, Delhi which was established in 1885 by St. Stephen’s Hospital Society which was initially started with only 50 beds.
